Hi: How does one get the field titles to appear at the top of the field
instead of the A, B,C,D. etc.?

Your question is pretty vague. Here's a guess: you have columns of data
with titles for each column. As you scroll down, the titles scroll
of-screen. Is that right?

Select the row BELOW your titles and use Windows->Freeze Panes

Thanks Duke: Here is what I want. I exported a large number of names
addresses etc from Outlook"contacts". The field names came in as the top row
of the table. I would like the field names to appear at the top of each
page. How do I make these field names do that? thanks again.

You cannot change the column headers from A, B, C etc.

You can place your titles in row 1 then freeze panes at row 2.

Then Tools>Options>View.

Uncheck row and column headers.

For printing purposes you can use File>Page Setup>Sheet>Rows to repeat at top.

Enter $1:$1 or point to row 1

To have the titles appear on your worksheet at every 50 rows you would have to
copy that row and insert.
