Outlook should allow the user to create a custom folder list, similar in
appearance to the "All Folders" folder list, but wherein the user may remove
any folder they do not use regularly.
I like the folder-list view. I enable the "Show total number of items"
property on my tasks view and my search-folders views so that I can guage the
amount of work I have. The Folder List "All Folders" view is the only view
that will simultaneously show me these counts for tasks and search folders.
However, I don't care about the junk mail folders, contacts folders, journal
folder, outbox folder, or several other folders that I created into which
unimportant mail is automatically redirected. I would like to be able to
create a custom folder list view that shows me only the folders I explicitly
choose to see, or that shows me all folders except those that I explicitly
choose not to see.
