Hello,

I recently downloaded FDISK.EXE from bootdisk.com to my desktop. I
double-clicked on the executable for no legitimate reason.

Now, even after rebooting, I am unable to delete FDISK.EXE from my
desktop. I get the error message that the file is in use.

Would anyone know what I can do to delete FDISK.EXE from my desktop?

Thank you,
Kevin Gravelle

Try Safe Mode. Do this by repeatedly tapping the F8 key as the computer is
starting up. This will get you to the right menu. Navigate using your Up
arrow key; the mouse will not work here.

If you can't do it even in Safe Mode, try Safe Mode Command prompt and
delete it from the command line.
