Hi All,

I have a strange phenomenon.
I build XPe image and FBA is complete and I confgure image
(create aonother user and so on) and execute fbreseal.exe.
On next boot, all user's profile folder that was used
before reseal are ignored and create new profile folder.
For example,
C:\Document and Settings\Administrator --- before reseal
C:\Document and Settings\Administrator.newcomputername ---
reboot after reseal

So I can not inherit each user settings. But this
phenomenon is not occur every time, sometimes fbreseal
works well.

I don't know what I should do.

Please advice for me.

Regards,

If you look into System Cloning or FBA component there is a Advanced setting that you can do to control these FBA behaviors

Dear Ju Kim,

Thank you for your reply.
I check these component's advanced settings and try it.
But I don't meet this phenomenon every time in spite of
same build image. When this phenomenon is occur, bellow
messeage is not displayed at cloning phase after resealse
phase.

"Please wait while windows prepare to start...."

Do you have any suggestion for me?

Regards,

Yasutaka,

So, if you got "System Cloning Tool - Hotfix Q810144" component in your
image, have you tried setting extended property cmiRemoveUserSettings to
FALSE? Did it help?
Also, try "FBReseal.exe -keepuser" command instead of just fbreseal.exe (or
even, -keepall).
