has anybody heard of nortin av 2006 blocking ms fax from receiving a fax,

sorry I had received a call during the original posting and was distracted ,
I see I need to put details.
just installed MS fax, when I invoke the console, Norton pops up saying it
has blocked an internet worm/trojan from accessing my pc from the internet, I
say hmmmmm, that's interesting, glad it blocked it.
so in learning how to send a fax I had opened the console multiple times and
got the pop up each time, I was able to send a fax just fine, now I'm
wondering if norton AV is blocking my fax from receiving a fax.
I'm using xp pro.

Call a friend, ask them to send you a fax.

Thanks for your response, I got lucky and actually got a response from
symantec regarding internet worm protection rules, they sent me an article
on setting up rules to allow ms fax to send receive faxes, without that
naughty blocking going on, here is a link.
