When sending a fax,why is my fax machine printing the items I am sending? I tested by sending a fax to a unserviceable number, my document prints on my fax machine and my fax monitor shows that the fax was successfully sent.

The problem may be in your fax machine. I can set my fax machine to receive
a fax when it is connected directly to the computer with no telephone rings
required.

When Windows Fax receives a response from a fax machine, Windows has no way
of knowing where the response came from.
