fax/scan

I bought new computer last week and can't fax with it. Plug in a phone line
and programs can't find fax, windows says to open fax/scan program but that
isn't showing in my list of programs, I'm lost

If you have Vista Home Basic or Premium, then you don't have the Windows Fax
& Scan software.
If you got a fax modem with the computer, did it come with some software?
