fax/phone issue

hey guys, i have question about windows xp faxing.

in my office i have business roll over lines. this means
when someone calls and my main line is busy, it rolls over
to the next line. my fax line is on my business rollover
line. when a fax is sent the fax machine knows that call
is a fax so it answers. i am trying to setup my computer
to act has my fax machine because now i can screen my
faxes and not have to waste all my paper from junk faxes.

how can i configure my xp machine to automically pickup
when its a fax instead of it always picking up, because
most of the time it might be someone calling.

please help!! i need to start saving my paper.

You will need to contact your phone company - WIndows XP does not support
Distinctive Ring. You'll have to see if they offer a similar service.
 
Did you ever find a way to do this in Windows XP without having to contact your phone company?
