Fax not receiving with DSL

My XP fax program worked fine until I got a DSL service.
The DSL comes in on a seperate phone line, not the same
number as my regular house phone which used to go to the
computer. Faxes coming in now keep getting rejected at the
sender's end. I hooked my regular phone line into the
modem of my PC and was able to send a fax but when someone
calls in on that line both the phone rings and the fax
tries to start at the same time. You hear the fax tone
over the voice.

You need to plug your analogue fax modem into the other jack in the DSL
filter - you cannot receive faxes via DSL.
