FAX not dialing out.

Just started in the last couple of days; I have been
unable to send a FAX using the Microsoft Fax Console V
5.1 with Windows XP Home Edition. There is no problem
dialing out when accessing the internet or email. The
problem only exists in sending a FAX. I can still
receive a FAX okay.
I will appreicate any and all ideas. Please send me an
email.

There is no error message at all. It acts like it is

dialing but it is not doing so. There is no sound from
the modem and no indication that the program has in fact
dialed.
