Fax install

[can not install fax]

Try to install fax but there is no component to install
in add/remove Windows components. Error: installation
library for componet fax could not be intialized

Did you delete any file(s) under %windir% directory? Did you do any
configuration changes of late?

Also can you check if the following files are present:

%windir%\system32\setup - fxsocm.dll

%windir%\inf - fxsocm.inf

No changes. Just never set up faxing . Now I need it.
Both files are there
