Bought a Dell 2100 with XP Home pre-installed. Asks for
the installation disk when I try to install the faxing
component. Won't work with the XP reinstall disk that
came with the machine. Can anybody help? Thanks.

You should have a C:\I386 folder on your hard drive. When the install
routine asks for the XP installation CD, point it to I386 instead.
 
Are you using the original disc provided by your vendor? Did you install
any service packs for XP on your machine?
