WinXP includes a fax program. It is listed under
Accessories-Communications. I cannot tell you whether this program
"has a fax driver like the old versions had".

My WinXP Pro at work nor Home at home do not have it. Perhaps it is an installation option. I need it for my home version atr home. Do you know how to install it?

1. Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
2. Have your Windows XP CD disc ready
3. Click on Add/Remove Windows Components in left column
of Add/Remove Programs control Panel display.
4. A new window will open. Look down the list for Fax Services.
Click it to enable a checkmark, and then click the "Next" button.
5. XP will take you from there. Reboot once Fax Services in installed.
