How can i stop third parties from lodging website
addresses in my favorites menu. The problem is that every
time i restart my computer there are a whole load of web
addresses that i have not visited appearing in my
favourites menu. I delete them but they reappear when i
restart my computer. I am running windows Xp

Right click the IE icon | Properties | Advanced tab |
Make sure both of these are NOT checked.
