Hello.
I have downloaded and installed Lycos Sonique 1.96 then installed along Plug ins for it like GogoL! and Dee2. I managed to Uninstall both of the plug ins successfully. I followed all instructions to install and uninstall each one of them but I realized that when i uninstalled the plug in GogoL!, there was still shortcuts for it in my programs list and when i searched the program files folder, i found the folder still there with every thing in it. Until now, everything was ok until i decided for some reason to download and install the Sonique 2 Alpha and no plug ins this time, I installed it and it asked me to restart my pc so I have. While the system was loading up and as soon i saw the desktop wallpaper, this message poped up:
The title was:
rundll32.exe - Application Error
and the message was:
The Instruction at "0x100155b0" referenced memory at"0x00ba0000". The memory could not be "read".
Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program
I clicked on Ok, and went to uninstall everyone of the latest programs i did. So, since then, I still get that message even when i tried to restore my system to an earlier point 3 days ago. And I even tried to delete every single string to any of the previous programs registry key from the registry shell and still no use. I tried to search for the rundll32.exe and couldn't find it either. I tried to search for the error number I showed you above and nothing. I even checked the registry for any errors using the System Mechanic 3.8 and it didn't find any problem. I guess I have tried everything I could as a normal user and still can't figure it out.
Any body could help identifying the problem and what should i do to get rid of this message every time this thing boots up I would really appreciate it pretty much, because I had no troubles at all before this happened to me. Thanks
I got:
* Windows XP PRO SP1
* 512 DDR Ram, ATI Radeon 128 AIW, Creative SB Audigy 2 Platinum
* WD 120Gigs HD,
