Faulty CD Writer?

My CD Writer Keeps opening and closing itself. When I insert an audio cd, it
starts playing and then at ramdom times it stops and opens itself. I'm just
afraid it's gonna open when I burn cd's. I've uninstalled the cd writer in
the device manager and the PC detected it again after pushing the refresh
button. The PC says the device is working properly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
