While I'm browsing the net often a blue screen will pop up
with the following error message: fatal exception O.E.
has occurred at 0028: C17774CS in UXD AFVXD (01) + 0004B15

I have to restart each time to reset my internet
connection. I was told that it might be corrupt files in
my operating system that needs to be replaced. I'm on
windows 98.

Any help would be appreciated.

That's 0E (zero) not OE. It usually indicates a driver problem.
