Hello,
I'm running XP Home on my home machine and a process,
FASTFIND.EXE, occasionally starts up for some reason and
hogs a fair bit of CPU time. Not enough to halt the
machine but enough to make life annoying. I was wondering
what this process does and if there is something I can do
to stop it from hogging my CPU.
I did a quick google on the process but didn't find
anything of interest, at least nothing to tell me what the
process does. I found one place that said it was not
necessary and to just kill the process, I did this with no
ill effects.
Thanks,
Russ
