Fast User Switching

still not working the computer is not part of a domain,
it is a standalone, it has 512mb of ram, a video card
with 128mb of ram. also has a problem that a limited user
can not run Midtown Madness2..it needs to be run as an
adminstrator
 
If you have'nt already go to Control Panel-User Accounts
and click on "change the way users log on or off" then
check the box that says "Use fast user swithing"
If you've tried this and it still doesn't work go to,
start-run, type services.msc press enter, find an entry
called "Fast User Switching Compatibility" double click
and make sure its set to started.

Yes this helped me track down the service and see if it
was running...it wasn't...it was set to manual...oh yes
during the original install I got attacked by a virus,
then after installing Norton it cleaned the virus.. I
think the file it had was svchost which is linked to the
fast user switching dependencies.
