I just bought a fanless PSU with a 82% effectivity. After 1 hour of use the
PSU get's really hot, so hot that it beginns to smell burned electricty.
I got the support to fan my case good. I do that even I got watercooling for
all my parts ecept the PSU.
But the main is that the heat is in the internal parts of the PSU so it
doesn't matter how low the temp in the case is, it's an interal heat problem
and you can not fan that away.
So now even after 20 min of use when the PSU isn't that hot it smells little
and I also get irritations in my eyes and throat. So I wonder if this is
dangerous?
