Hi,
the fan for my video card was making an awful noise, so i took it off it, is
this ok? it wont overheat will it?
 
If you took the fan off your video card then you can expect the card to
self-destruct sooner or later from heat. If it was making noise you should
have asked the manufacturer for a new fan.

I took the radiator out of my car because it was leaking.
Is this okay?
It won't overheat, will it?

YES, YES it will. Sure - you might be okay if all you do is word processing
and you only have your computer on for short times or you have enough
air-flow to make up the difference you just made - but you are assuming the
risk. If I were you, I would purchase a replacement fan.
