I have tried to instal the above disc so that I can run
1881 census and the Vital Record Index but XP doesn't like
it. It worked brilliantly on Windows 2000. When I load it
in the screen goes black like it does when you change
fonts, it freezes up the machine. Can anyone help me
please. Many thanks

Have you successfully installed the applications
If yes, have you tried to run the applications in the compatiblity mode
Start/All Program/, right click on the application and click property, click the compatibity tab, check the box for compatiblity mode and select Win2000, click apply and OK. Reboot and then try to run the app. again
