False security notices

Gentlemen, How do I stop getting these false microsoft
securities down-loads which contain a virus? I must get 5
or 6 a day and I keep deleting them. Is there a patch or
mirsoft down-load to keep them from showing up in my
yahoo.com account? Thank you,

No way known to man.

Until the government and industry make some basic changes, we will see
them or the likes of them.

If it were to be decided that every piece of mail submitted to be
delivered was subject to a charge then suddenly the most motivating of
factors will be introduced and whoever is stuck with the bill will take the
necessary actions. If the spammer themselves are caught, they will become
much more selective. If it is the poor guy who got a virus and was sending
out trash to everyone in their address book, they will get wise and will add
effective virus control. etc.

Right now it is just cheaper for those with the power to do something to
let it happen.
