When I try and install this servcie pack, I get the
error "Access denied".
The installation does not tell me what it is trying to
access, why the access is denied, what I should about it,
or any other necessary information.

Thanks for the suggestions
I didn't try the support for the "Service Pack 1 Setup
Canceled" as I am not receiving this error.
I have looked in the log.
There is no reference to the registry section
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT in the log, and I am not using NTFS.
The last few lines of the log are listed below. The
applicable error seems to be "INF_REGISTRY FAILED",
however this is undocumented by Microsoft so I do not
know what to do next

I tried running RegMon and FileMon but it didn't help -
no unsuccessful registry writes were attempted
I ran the set-up again twice. The first time it crashed
my PC. The 2nd time it came up with the same "Access
Denied" Error.
