Hi, I recently upgraded my Windows XP with the Service Pack 2, an
somehow my computer's usb ports now cannot be detected. Whateve
peripherals I stick into the port, will not be detected by th
computer at all. So now I can't transfer files from my cellphone no
my digicam
Am not very good with computers, can anyone tell me what's the proble
and how I should fix it please? :(
Thanks much

What does the 'device manager' say about your USB root/HUB?

control panel / system / hardware / device manager

windows key + break then click on hardware, then on device manager.
delete all the usb controllers
reboot
xp will reinstall everything.

if still no usb, then it most likely got turned off in the bios so go into
cmos and turn it back on.
