When first logging on to a peer2peer LAN accessing shared folders on one of
the PCs, we intermittently but frequently get the message:
"No more connections can be made to this remote computer at this time
because there are already as many connections as the computer can accept"
using one of the PCs as a "file server". Later attempts often, but not
always, connect OK. Technet article 815432 suggests that this was a known
problem resolved by a hotfix incorporated in SP2. All of the PCs are running
SP2 and all automatic updates issued at least to 29/4/2005 (when I was last
on site) but the problem is still there.
Any answers?
