Failed to connect to Global Catalog

Hi,

I am unable to connect to Global Catalog and it
produces "Failed to connect to Global Catalog" error. I
checked the settings and the Global Catalog is enabled.
What should I do for this?

It could be the GC related SRV records are missing from DNS (if you're sure
network connectivity isn't the problem). From your post, I'm assuming
you've only one DC? Ensure the DC is pointing to itself for DNS and restart
the NETLOGON service.

Also ensure the clients are pointing to the internal DNS server and not a
public DNS server such as you're ISPs.
