Using a N64 Emulator called "Project64" i get a error message "Failed to allocate memory"... This has only happened since i have installed Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2. Has anybody got any suggestions... i have asked on there forums... but no body seems to know... please tell me as soon as possible

Possible solutions i have tried are:
*Virtual Memory freeing software
*Closing unneeded processes
*Continous reinstallment incl. Removing Project64 Registry Keys
*Many others...

From www.emutalk.net... i have tried most if not all of there suggestions.

Please give your suggestions but no repeats of ones i have already done if possible..... cheers

How is anyone supposed to know if what they might offer would be
"repeats" or not? I.e., stick to the original thread.

Obvious answer:
Remove SP2. It's *STILL* in BETA, no matter what cute numbers and
letters they tag on it.

My personal attitude about ANY OS Service Packs is to *WAIT*... wait...
then wait some more... let OTHER people be the Guinea Pigs, then read
about their mis-adventures (and hopefully solutions) in newsgroups like
this one.

:)
