Extremely slow connection to network shares.

I am having a very frustrating problem. I am trying to connect a windows
2000 Pro box to a couple of shared printers that are connected to 2 different
Windows XP home computers. It takes a few minutes to do anything to them.
It isn't limited to the printers. If I try to access either of the computers
via, \\computername it takes a very long time to display anything. What
really gets me is that I can connect to another XP computer without any
problems.

All of the XP machines have the same updates applied and have identical
Hardware. Anyone have a clue what might be causing this. Oh, of course, it
worked fine yesterday.

Could be a name resolution problem. What happens when you
run this command from a Command Prompt:

net use T: \\192.168.0.55\ShareName

(replace 192.168.0.55 with the correct IP address of the
target PC).

You can check the link speed for the NICs in the affected computers and make
sure they are all the same.
