Extra month shown in date count

I am using =TODAY()-B5 in Excel 2000 and getting extra month in the count

I am using the Formula =TODAY()-B2 to display a running time (YR – MO –
Days) since listed date.
The problem is: It displays an extra month in the total. This includes
actually showing “38 Years – 12 Months – 11 days†when it should only be
38yr-11mo-11days.

I am using Excel 2000 9.0.8948 SP-3 running on Windows XP Tablet Edition
2005 version 2002 SP2.

Any ideas, help, solutions?

Thanks,

Iyvind

What's in B5 (or B2, whichever one is correct)? What is the formula you are
using to calculate years, months, and days?
