Extending Lease Time

I have a network with two PC's running XP Home. One of the PC's is connected wirelessly. The wireless PC has drives mapped to the second PC as I use data files off of the second PC for applications on the wireless one. My issue is that when the lease time for the IP address expires, the apps on the wireless PC throw a fit since the mapped drive does not exist anymore. Is there any way to extend the lease time beyond 24 hrs? I cannot seem to find that setting anywhere.

Thanks,

Today's problems don't worry me,
I haven't solved yesterday's yet.

Hi -

What device is assigning IP addresses? If it's the
wireless access point that's what needs to be
reconfigured to increase the IP lease time. That may not
be possible with some consumer-grade access points - your
mileage may vary.

That did the trick, thanks! Must've missed that setting when setting up the router.
