express to vista new pc

I have a XP pc running outllok express - i have copied all the DBX files to
a new folder and moved this folder to the desktop of my new vista PC. The
DBX folders contained all the emails so i need them. I am using Microsoft
office outlook on the new vista PC and can not see anyway to get the
information back from the archive folder.
any ideas please?

In Outlook
File - Import and Export
Import Internet Mail and addresses
Outlook Express 4,5,6

DBX files are from Outlook Express, not Outlook.

Did you include Folders.dbx?
Did you make sure none of the DBX files are Read Only?

If you answer yes to both, open Windows Mail and choose File | Import |
Messages | Outlook Express 6. Navigate to the folder that holds the DBX
files.
