express to outlook transfer

I am currently running Outlook express that is running
with IE 6 and have reinstalled Outlook 97. How do I set
up Outlook 97 to be the default email and can I transfer
the existing address book and email on express?
 
Outlook is set as the default mail program in Control Panel > Internet
Options...
Outlook 97 is so outdated it is no longer even supported. It does not have
an option to import from OE6 because it preceded it by several years.
You can try the Import Wizard on the File Menu for the older version of OE
and see if it works.
