Exporting information to Word

I am trying to take observations that I have entered into Excel and export the information to Word. I figured out how to do this by keeping the data in a table, but I want to make the information readable in paragraph form for a report. I have heard that it may be easier to import the data into Access to make my report, but I am unfamiliar with Access. Thanks for any help I can get.

for reporting I would also suggest using MS Access. <The report manager
is quite easy to use.
