Exporting email accounts

I have a number of email accounts set up on my desktop,
and would like to export them to my laptop, rather than
copying each one manually. I have no idea where to find
the email account file, how to export it, or how to import
it to the laptop. Any ideas?

First of all, both the workstation and the laptop must be configured so
they can see and talk to each other. From the laptop, open Outlook, go
to the file menu, choose import/export, choose to import from another
program, choose .pst and point it to the correct .pst. This is
assuming that you are using Outlook.

That much is OK, to a point. It's not _required_ they see each other.
Using a CD to transfer the info is acceptable.

This is really less than optimal. If the two machines can "see" each other,
then the OP should just COPY the PST files to the second machine and open
them in Outlook. Alternatively, they can be placed on a CD (or diskette, if
small enough) and copied to the other machine. Avoid export/import whenever
possible.
