I have a new laptop with Outlook 2003. Previous laptop with Outlook 2000.
Where have all my e-mails gone??? When I started Outlook 2003 I only
received new e-mails - all my e-mails from Outlook 2000 did not come over..
On your old computer, make certain that you can view hidden files and then
do a search for any files that have a .pst file extension. Those files
contain you mail, contacts, etc. Copy that/those file(s) to a CD and then
onto your new computer's hard drive, being careful not to overwrite files of
the same name. After removing the Read Only attribute from the newly copied
file(s), just open the files in your new version of Outlook and copy
whatever you want from the old .pst file to your new setup.
