Mr. Rather B. Beachen

Apparently no wab file was created for the contacts I have in outlook
(They had been d/l from my palm). How am I to export/import these
files if none exists, and if this file (*.wab) doesn't exist, I'm
assuming that call my contacts are being kept in my pab file.

So how can I backup my contact list in Outlook?

Thanks

Outlook uses neither the WAB (Windows Address Book - used by Outlook
Express) nor the PAB (Personal Address Book - an obsolete feature used for
Outlook 97/98 compatibility). All Contact information is kept in, quite
naturally, the Contacts folder.

Copy your PST to another spot while Outlook is closed. Get the PFBACKUP
utility from Microsoft. Read http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm
