Using Outlook 2003.

Had some major problems with my Outlook data. Have everything transfered
over from backups except calendar information. My current Outlook 2003 with
calendar information only has entries up to 9-23-2003 since I had to go back
to some old backups. I do have more recent PST files I can access that has
all the upto date calendar items, what is the best way to move these over?
Are all calendar entries stored in the PST file?

Doesn't seem to be anyway to drag and drop them since not sure how to access
calendar items from a 2nd PST file open?

Should I delete all my existing calendar entries, and then use Export and
Import from a more recent one?

Thanks for any help.

Yes. Everything (Calendar, Contacts, mail messages, Notes, etc.) is stored
in the PST.

Open the second PST. Expand it so you can see the folders. Click on the
Calendar folder. Click View>Arrange By>Current View>By Category. Press
CTRL-A to select all entries or simply select those entried later than the
entries in the first Calendar folder. You can use Shift-Click or
Control-Click to control which items are selected. Now right-click on your
selection and drag it over to the first PST's Calendar folder and drop. You
can choose "Move" or "Copy" as you wish. (Left-click and drag will move).
All done.

Never use Export and Import when working solely with PSTs.

Nope -- never use import and export for .PST files between Outlook
installations if you can possibly avoid it. You can simply open each .PST
file in your Outlook Folder List -- just click File | Open | Outlook Data
File, and browse to the file you want to open. (Don't try to open it from
Windows or any other program, though.) Once the .PST is open, you can drag
and drop items easily between the different .PST files. When you're done
with the files you don't need to keep open, right click the root folder and
then click Close. The file will remain on your drive but will no longer
show in Outlook.
