1. One set of directions states to use the Import/Export wizard while the
other directs me to Copy the Contacts folder first then use the wizard

2. Either way is giving me an Error Message: (in a Microsoft Word box)
Operation Failed.

3. The other message I will receive is a box asking me to set up a new
Personal Folder.

End result: I need to send an entire Contacts folder (541 entries) to
another computer. Must I email or can I just save to a CD and physically
move?

Method #1: Create a new .pst file and copy the entire folder into it. Close that .pst file. Restart Outlook.

Method #2: Use File | Import and Export, which will prompt you for an existing or new name for a .pst file. Complete the wizard. Restart Outlook.

I'd choose Method #1 myself. Method #2 may not handle distribution lists correctly.

Whether you email it or copy the .pst file to CD at that point is entirely up to you.
