I can not seem to get a list of contacts from 2003 back to
2000. I created a data file pst file in 97-2002 format.
Then copied everything over and then exported to a pst.
I went to the 2000 machine and imported to a pst and says
properties for this information service must be defined
prior to use.
If someone can send me the steps and I will try it again.

What?
You created a PST and then you exported?
You should only do the former.
How did you transfer this file? If you copied it onto a read only medium,
you must move it to a hard drive and remove its read only attribute

yes I created a pst folder that was 97-2002 compatible.
I first tried coping the file from my current folder to
the new pst folder then exported that to import it in my
2000 machine. Then that didn't work so I exported it out
of my current folder to the new pst folder I created, then
exported the new pst folder to the 2000 machine.

What is the correct way?
I did copy the exported file to the hardrive to a spot
without read only.

Do not export. Just create the PST in the old format, copy the data into it,
then copy that PST to the other hard drive and open it in the other
installation.
