Thanks for help so far on my RUNDLL - msfeeds.dll question - but it still
gives me the error message and I am continuing with Firefox.
If I try to install IE7 Beta it tells me it is already installed and that I
need to go to the control panel to remove it (but it isn't shown). If I try
to re-install IE6 it tells me that I have a later version already on my PC.

Is there another way I can remove explorer and start again - I was happy
with IE7.

After a few problems and a bit of tinkering I managed to mess up my PC. I
cannot re-load Internet Explorer 7 (Beta) as I keep getting a message that
it is already loaded (yet I cannot un-install it). IE6 will not run so I
have downloaded Mozilla Firefox (sorry).

When I start the PC I get the 'thunk' sound and a message saying:

RUNDLL
Error Loading C:\Windows\System32\msfeeds.dll
The specified procedure could not be found

Any suggestions please

John,

* Open your search utility, select 'Advanced Options' and make sure you
check the first 3 boxes, one being 'Search Hidden Files & Folders'.

* Type spuninst.exe, click 'Search Now'

* Look for the spuninst.exe that is associated with IE7 and click it. The
uninstall process should begin.

These steps work for uninstalling Windows Media Player 11 if you can't
uninstall from Add or Remove Programs. Hopefully it works for IE7 also.

I was using IE7 - I reloaded XP and that started the problem. Trying to
reload IE7 and I get the message that it is already loaded. If I try to load
IE6 I get a message that a later version is installed.
