I was just wondering if any one knew why my Explorer at
times uses 100% of the CPU and slows the computer down to
a craw? I have to go to task manager and end task on
Explorer and then make a new task and start explorer back
up. It seems to be spontanius. I mean I try to look at
what I am doing and it does it with different programs.
If you could help me, please let me know.. Thanks...

I have the same problem, which is cured by disabling
Norton Antivirus Autoprotect. This didn't used to
happen; that is, Autoprotect ran in the background
without there being a problem. So something else is
obviously going on. (Note that in my case, and as I
understand it in yours, it's not that NAV is using 100%
of CPU resources. It's IE that is unbelievably slow and
operating at 100%; but disabling autoprotect solves the
problem for me.)
