Explorer problem - PLZ help

ok, i am pretty good with windows xp... but THIS i just can't figure out.
whenever i try to open windows explorer, my computer, my documents, etc,
explorer.exe stops working and then my screen goes blank and then starts up
again, but the windows explorer isnt't up... i wish i knew wtf was going on,
i think there is a virus on my computer, but i have scanned with like 3
different anti virus and adaware, but found nothing... plz help

Unfortunately, this isn't enough information for us to give you focused
help. To make sure the computer is clean, go through these general
malware removal steps systematically -

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting
this isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a professional
computer repair shop (not your local version of BigStoreUSA).

If the computer is clean, then look in Event Viewer for clues.
Start>Run>eventvwr.msc [enter]
