When using the "Map Network Drive" function in Windows Explorer, a pull-down
list that contains recent or previously used shares is available. Is there a
way to edit the list in order to remove items that are no longer wanted or
applicable?

The Map Network Drive show you the list of used Network Path. If you
disconnect a drive which is not in used then it will be removed from the
cache map network drive list.

Let me know!

The MRU entries for the network drives are stored in the following registry
location:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Map
Network Drive MRU

Backup the branch and then modify the entries as you wish.
