Explorer doesn't work properly after installing SP2

This is weird...
I just got done forcing SP2 onto one of my systems, and now Explorer
doesn't work quite right. It runs, but it doesn't seem to run any javascript.
Also, when I look at the "about" dialog it doesn't list any information, such
as version, excryption level, or anything else. I tried reinstalling my
Google search bar, and it just just hung - pushing the "okay" buttons in
forms doesn't work. Has anyone else had problems with Explorer after
installing SP2? I installed it on three other systems without any
ill-effects. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated; it'd be nice
for Explorer to run properly.
