I've noticed that if I've got a folder (I'm using XP Pro)
that has a large volume of video media in it, it slows my
system down - by checking processes in the Task Manager,
Explorer.exe is using near 100% system resources. Very
inconvenient.
I believe I heard that this is caused because Windows is
constantly refreshing the data in this folder which bogs
it down (one of my friends has the same issue). I was
just wondering if this was a commonly known issue and if
there was a hotfix for it out.
Thanks for any help or information!
