If you have downloaded IE6, then you are not running XP, as XP already has
IE6. If you have a problem with IE6, then you do a repair installation using
the Windows XP CD (if you have one). If you don't have one (i.e. your system
has a recovery partition) then you will need to read the manual to see how
to repair individual files. You may need to hunt around in the i386 folder
(IOW the hidden partition for the executable) if that can be accessed
without the use of the CD. If it can't, then I can't help because I've never
used a system with a hidden partition.
