There is this great tool "Expires after" under Options (either new mail -
Options or open received mail - click View Menu - Options).

Now I have many emails that expired (the mail is grey and crossed out). I
now want to filter all mails that are expired so that I can delete them in
one go. However, I did not manage to do this using searchfolder or changing
the view.

Does anyone know how I can delete all expired emails at once?

Many thanks for any help.

Kind regards

Nicole

Archive can do this in File-> Archive...
In your AutoArchive settings you can specify what to do with expired items.

Hi Robert,

Many thanks for your reply.

Is there no other way to filter? The company is using an own archiving
system which means I would have to archive first in Outlook, get everything
back and archive it again in the in-house system.

I was hoping there was a way for instant via the search folders - custom -
fields...however, it didn´t work.

Regards

Nicole

You can configure AutoArchive to only delete expired items and not do
anything with other emails. That is what you wanted to achieve, right?
