expand folders

After installing IE7, I wound up with re-installing the OS again. It saysyou can go back to ie6, but don't believe it. going back just screws up your ie6 installation.

And since the reinstall, when I open explorer I have to use the + next tothe folders to get them to expand.
IIRC I used to be able to just select the folder and it expanded all below it.
I looked thru Tweakui, and found nothing.
I used 'close explorer folder and open explorer folder' as search terms at M$, and found nothing.
I think it has something to do with refresh.

Check the following:

Go to Start -> Control Panel and double click Folder Options.
In Folder Options, click on the View tab.
In the Advanced Settings box, make sure there's a check mark
next to "Display simple folder view in Explorer's Folders
list".
Click OK.
