I am currently using Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 SP1 and
it will not download .exe files. It does download most
other file types. I have downloaded all of the updates
available from Windows Update and it still does not work.
Under the security tab, downloading is allowed. I have no
problem using Netscape Navigator 7.1 to download ANY
files, which indicates to me there is no problem with my
Anti-Virus Software.
